Why this tool exists
Three problems we kept seeing — over and over, in our own job hunts and in the hundreds of resumes we’ve helped review.
Most resume tools lie. They hand out 92/100 scores, tell you you’re a “great fit,” and your callback rate doesn’t move. That’s not feedback — that’s flattery.
Generic advice doesn’t work. “Use stronger verbs” is not a fix. “Add ‘distributed systems’ to skills and rewrite bullet 3 with quantified scope” is.
AI tools hallucinate. Most generative resume tools cheerfully invent skills, metrics, and experience you don’t have. That’s not help — that’s a future awkward interview.
So we built a tool that calibrates honestly, cites evidence, and refuses to invent. That’s the entire reason ResumeFit AI exists.
